User Feedback
Dear Cengiz Fishing Family, Thanks to you and the official of Okuma company coming from abroad, I had the chance to meet the latest and most advanced spinning wheel of Okuma. First of all, I followed the comments of professional boat owners, especially in America, about this new technology spinning wheel on the internet. these people wrote very positive things for MAKAIRA. I even read the comments that there is nothing better for the price. When I was the first and only owner of MAKAIRA in Turkey, only its appearance and material quality impressed me. We had a struggle that lasted for 45 minutes. The machine once again impressed me with its extremely comfortable use and sensitive drag settings. I am now excitedly waiting for my second MAKAIRA. I am sure that I will get a good performance for many years from the MAKAIRA, which is in the first place in price-performance comparison. Thanks READING and Thanks CENGİZ BALIKÇILIK. M. “While hunting with the new Makaira, I was really impressed by the new quiet anti-rollback system as well as the strong traction system. The Makaira is stylishly designed and gives a well-balanced grip feel. It is truly a premium machine.”

“The Makaira line of machines is part of Okuma's ongoing development efforts to develop reliable big fish tackles. The traction and drive systems of these machines are of a premium quality. The Makaira project from concept and development to a premium quality machine with reliable, powerful and the smoothest pulling system on the market. "I watched him through his transformation into a hunting machine. Like you, they strive to be on the side of the lap of honor at Okuma, and are ready to undertake any effort, development and testing to help them achieve their goals."

“The new Makaira machines feature a traction system designed by Tiburon Engineering, featuring dual stainless steel tension discs for high pulling power and efficiency, pure carbon pulling elements for long life and high heat resistance, and a proprietary stainless steel ball system for trouble-free operation. Thanks to the high level of performance offered by the machine series, Okuma is ready to compete head-to-head with all its competitors in the big fishing arena.”

“I handed the Makaira and Cedros machines into the hands of some of my private clients and let them try them out while they were bottom fishing to catch large and yellowtail. After a few months of battling big fish with ratchet pull systems, I am happy to report that we have had no problems with either machine. "The machines offer the strength and durability of a bottom fishing machine in a mooring machine. I greet the people working at Okuma."

" For years, one or two brands dominated the big fishing gear market. Anglers had to choose several alternatives to these brands. Now, that's over. After using Okuma Makaira series machines for an entire season, I can honestly say that these machines are for sporting purposes. It's a new force to be reckoned with in fishing gear. It gives me more confidence to stand behind the new Okuma Makaira series of machines, built with superior traction and gearing, than any machine I've used before. It's a real wonder!”

“Last year, I spent more than 250 days water testing the Makaira and Cedros machines, and I can honestly say that these machines have proven to be suitable for everything from catching a leap swordfish to sole fishing for large species. The waters surrounding the Florida Islands are quite challenging for fishing gear. "It's tough, and if you look at my grip, you'll see Okuma. These machines are very powerful."
